Who is responsible for this website?

Tow Car Match is operated by The Caravan Place Ltd. For privacy enquiries, email thecaravanplace@aol.com or call 01902 700 111.

Information you enter into the matcher

Vehicle selections and towing weights are used in your browser to calculate an indicative match. The matcher does not ask for your name, address or account details, and those figures are not saved as a customer record by this website.

Postcode searches

When you use the towbar-fitter postcode search, the postcode is sent directly to Postcodes.io to confirm the area. Tow Car Match does not store the postcode as a customer record. Postcodes.io may process technical request information under its own terms and privacy arrangements.

When you contact us

If you call or email, The Caravan Place Ltd will use the details you provide to respond to your enquiry and manage any resulting business relationship. Records may be retained where reasonably necessary for customer service, accounting, legal or regulatory purposes.

Technical information

The website and its hosting providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps and security logs to operate, protect and diagnose the service.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Contact us using the details above. You can also raise concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
